makes me dwell in safety,
then I should never fear
to walk where He leads.
In peace I will both lie down and sleep,
For You alone, O Lord, make me to dwell in safety.

Thinking about how even if our pastures are scorched from drought or fire, they are still green and lush for growth when we trust in Him alone.
I hope your weekend has been lush with a sense of His presence.
This is exactly how I view life. A poem, written by a missionary in China in early ’50s, when forced to live in a hard and harsh manner, begins with: In the centre of the circle of the will of God I stand…” . It’s a wonder poem. But it focuses on exactly what you stated. We follow Him at HIS calling, and nothing else counts. HE is our Protector and our Keeper.
I love resting in his safety… it is a peace that passes our understanding.
